From their website: Affogata’s AI-Driven Player Feedback Analytics Platform was founded with the mission of enabling companies to bring the voice of their users to the decision making table. They help top gaming studios and many other leading brands on many industries to analyze their users’ feedback and turn this important data into actionable insights that help grow business. The platform gathers real-time user feedback from anywhere on the open web and from internal data sources, analyzes the data so that you can take a proactive approach in planning ahead upcoming roadmap while also reacting to players’ feedback. Affogata serves different departments within the companies’ studio, customizing analysis, reports and alerts to the needs and requests of each unit.
The basic features primarily analyzed all public social feeds into a time period-based sentiment graph which would inform a brand about how their are perceived at any given time, during campaigns, new launches and updates, etc.
The platform also surfaced trending keywords and provided an impact score for either all social feeds or for any one of them separately.
We also introduced Compare mode to show how a brand is doing across several feeds at once or simultaneously compare competing brands.
The main feeds screen typically displays a left column showing the various social networks, profiles and custom searches a brand is following, the middle column displays posts from all (or selected) feeds, and on the right, the Search feature which is one of Affogata’s heavy guns.
The Search option that could create custom feeds off of any social public ones using keywords, topics, profiles or labels created within the system. This allows Affogata’s customers to quickly learn the current sentiment for their brand and help them create actionable insights regarding any negative or positive crowd reactions in it.
I designed many more exciting features for the platform, that have yet to be developed by the time I left for other exciting opportunities. My time in Affogata was one of the most active and interesting in the tech industry.
